Call into existence

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

It is so amazing to know that God rewards those who earnestly seek him. This promise should motivate every believer to spend quality time with God on a daily basis. To each of us a measure of faith has been giving and we are responsible to use and exercise it. What is faith? The bible clearly describes what true faith is, Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We believe, therefore we speak. We speak into existence what God has promised. God’s Word is so powerful that it has the ability to create. I will share a personal testimony, I was painting the walls of my house and somehow, I hurt my elbow. I could not move it, lift anything as the pain was excruciating. I would wake up in the middle of the night with pain and so I began to place my hand where the pain was and I would declare healing for the coming days. “I would say, elbow you’re healed, completely healed. Pain you must go in Jesus name”. Well guessed what? The pain left completely and it has not return.

I could have found myself speaking about the pain and not do anything about it. I could have allowed fear but instead, I used the Word of God to claim what Jesus paid for. Speak life into the circumstance, whether it is sickness, disease, marriage, family, finances, or whatever the mountain maybe. Do not waste your energy speaking about it, instead speak to it. What does the Word of God say about that situation? Mediate on the Word. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the power of the promise. Say it! Believing in your heart that the Word is true and you will see the promise take place. Trust the person who said it, that is, God himself, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. I always ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to me the hefty price that Jesus paid for me. It was not free, it had a price on it. A price that no human could possibly pay only God himself could do it and he did. I have made up my mind to exercise my faith to live a life that brings Jesus glory and honor but I must watch what comes out of my mouth. I refuse to undermine or discredit what Jesus did for me. I am who he says I am, I have what he says I can have.

I pray that today, Holy Spirit will quicken you to believe God, despite what is in front of you. You see, there are times where our faith needs to be tested, and we must come out winning. I trust that the One who has called you and set you apart, will keep you from falling. Keep fighting the fight and finish the race!
